  • Admission in the University are offered on the basis of rules framed by the relevant bodies of the University.
  • University admission forms are available online at www.sgrru.ac.in and also can be collected in person from College campus.
  • Completed application form has to be submitted with attested testimonials
  • After registration College will notify the applicants. Admission is strictly based on basis of merit. All candidates will have to clear a personal interview round.

Admission Counselling

Physical presence is mandatory for successful candidates called at the time of admission counselling. Candidate must bring all the documents and the admission fee. Please note that in the absence of candidate, seat will be offered to the candidate next on the merit list.

Admission Process

Selected candidates who are called for counselling followed by admission must bring the following documents:

 
  • Three recent passport size photographs.
  • Photocopies of the mark sheets of 10th and 10+2
  • School Leaving Certificate from the school last attended, duly attested /signed by the Head of the Institution.
  • The Aadhar card of the student.
  • Photocopy of domicile of Uttarakhand. (In case of Uttarakhand quota)
  • Students seeking admission to the PG courses from other University are required to submit the original migration certificate along with photocopies of transcript, UG degree certificate, transfer and conduct certificate in original issued by the Principal of the Institution last attended. 
  • Prescribed academic fee of concern discipline. (Online or through Demand draft)

Student fee will be refunded as per the University norms.

FAQs:

Ans. The admission process for PG and UG programs commences from May. Application forms will be available on payment of Rs.1,000. To apply one may:

Option 1: Apply online, Upload documents, Pay online.

Option 2: Purchase application form offline from College and submit to admission cell.

Ans. Incorrectly filled, incomplete and unsigned forms are rejected. Form once rejected will not be reconsidered and form cost will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever.

Ans. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in the examinations. Attendance of a student is calculated from the date of commencement of program or date of fee payment (whichever is later).

Ans. Girls hostel is available in college campus and boys Hostel is about 300 meters far from the college.Rooms will be allotted on first come first serve basis and subject to their availability.

Ans. College has a policy of ‘Zero Tolerance’ for ragging within and outside the campus.

Ans. Entire campus including hostels, parking and academic areas are very well secured through 24x7 hrs outsourced security agencies with armed guards. C.C.T.V. cameras have been installed at strategic places to keep a close vigil in the campus.
